The Colours That I Saw Today
In 'The Colours I Saw Today' I made a painting each day for a month using colours I remembered from the previous day. Mundane dog walks, walks to school and on errands provided time to notice colours around me. The following day in the studio I would recall four of these colours and paint them. At the time I was reading Josef Albers. These works created an installation at the Carliol House gallery in Newcastle.
