Freudian

In the Freudian Series, I prioritise place and the memory of past times. This started walking around the area in Vienna where I lived for three years, I felt acutely aware of the ghosts of the past, brushing against things unseen, butterflies in my stomach, and electricity in the air. The memories of those that inhabited the city for over a thousand years are left in traces. I used the streets around Freud's home and consulting office as a basis to explore these emotions used in Freudian i. Other paintings have followed.
