String Drawings

An on-going series of drawings based on patterns found through different string figures from around the world. String figures are one of the oldest and most widespread forms of play, found in cultures across the world. While it's unclear where or when they began, all early societies used string for practical purposes and likely for games too. Over 2,000 unique patterns have been recorded globally since the 19th century.
